Our Brooklyn Park Campus is Open for Services!

If you plan on coming to services at our Living Word Brooklyn Park campus in the weeks ahead, please take a few minutes to review the information here! Creating a safe environment is our top priority as we begin to worship together again in the same space. Also, the Kid Ministry for Grades 1–5 has reopened safely! If you could help us with our planning by filling out an RSVP for our Kids Ministry, that would be amazing!

A few ways we can be safe and together.

Our staff has been working to create a safe and secure environment for all who are able to join us in person at one of our services. If you plan on coming to church in the weeks ahead, here are a few things to expect during your experience.

    1. As of June 27, kids in grades 1–5 are able to head to their classrooms. LEARN MORE
    2. Seating is every other row in the sanctuary leaving two empty seats between families.
    3. Masks are available but will not be required.
    4. Social distancing guidelines are in place and all Greeters, Ushers, and Welcome Team Volunteers will say their “hello’s” accordingly.
    5. Iglesia Espanol is open Sundays at 10:45 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
    6.  Additional staff are on site to help facilitate these new protocols.

Please Note: We will be doing everything we can to practice safe social distancing per the guidelines of the CDC.

How we are keeping you safe.

We love you. We trust you. Our new guidelines and procedures are in place so you and your family can trust that we are doing everything we can to ensure your church experience is as safe as possible. We look forward to seeing you soon.

  • If you are experiencing symptoms, please continue to watch our service live stream at home.
  • Once you arrive at church, you can check in your children in the Kids area of the main lobby—and it will be touch free!
  • Clear directions will be posted for the flow of traffic to and from our Kids Ministry classrooms. Please follow all the posted directions so each of us can stay safe and appropriately distanced before and after each service.
  • We will be taking touch-free temperatures of all parents, children, and volunteers prior to entering the Kids Ministry area to ensure all temperatures are within a healthy range.
  • Volunteers and staff will be wearing masks.
  • Masks are available but not required for our congregation.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available.
  • Maintain six feet of distance between families (when in shared spaces, i.e. restrooms, aisles, altar, and lobbies, please maintain distancing protocols.)
  • Hugs and handshakes will have to wait.
  • Sit with the people from your household, but leave at least two seats between others.

Please Note: We will be doing everything we can to practice safe social distancing per the guidelines of the CDC.

Do I need to reserve seats?

We do ask that you RSVP for any children for kids ministry grades 1–5, HERE.

What are your service times?

Our Brooklyn Park main services are at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday morning.

How early should I arrive?

Doors open about 45 minutes before each service.

Can I receive communion?

We will be having single-serve pre-packaged communion elements at some of our services.

How and when are you cleaning your facility?

The Sanctuary is shut down and thoroughly sanitized before and after each service. The facility, including meeting spaces, restrooms, and public areas are all being cleaned and sanitized regularly.

Will masks and hand sanitizers be available?

Yes!

Can I receive a bulletin?

Bulletins are not being printed at this time. If you need any information, please check out our website or ask a volunteer on-site.

Restrooms

Each restroom is being monitored to make sure there are not too many people in the space at the same time.

What about Children’s and Youth Ministry?

Starting the weekend of June 27–28, kids in grades 1–5 will be able to head to their classrooms. Please check out our policies and guidelines to ensure that safety is a priority in our weekend ministry. Due to current requirements by law, our current capacity is 50% of our normal standards. That means you will need to fill out an RSVP for our teams to plan accordingly for each service. LEARN MORE

We are looking forward to opening other parts of our kid’s ministry as the week progresses.

Can I still watch online?

Absolutely! Services are still steamed to our website, YouTube, and Facebook.

If I choose to stay at home, how can I host a watch party?

Hosting a watch party is simple and safe. This is as easy as inviting your family or close friends to your home to watch and experience the service together.

We can’t wait to be with you all this weekend, in whatever way you choose to attend!

Please consider:

  • Continue streaming services online via our website, on YouTube, or on Facebook.
  • Invite some guests to your home to watch services together.
  • Join us live at our Brooklyn Park Campus.
