When you arrive at Living Word, don’t let its size fool you! We are a fun-loving bunch of Jesus followers who look forward to meeting you. No matter which service you visit, you’ll find impactful worship and prayer; relevant, Bible-based messages; and a friendly, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
Pastor Jim Hammond ministers on Saturday nights, with Senior Pastor Lynne Hammond occasionally stepping in. Sundays you will find our Senior Pastor, Mac Hammond, at the pulpit, sharing anointed teaching. Our Wednesday night services cover a broad range of topics and are hosted by impactful staff pastors and guest ministers. All services are designed with you in mind—to help you connect with God and with one another!

At any of the entrances to Living Word, you can expect to find friendly, badged greeters ready to help you find what you are looking for. If you arrive with children birth through kindergarten, our main entrance—under the large portico—will take you to a one-stop check-in. Kids ministries (Grades 1–5) and youth ministries (Grades 6–12) are found on the west end of the building.
The Coffee House, LW Store, and Guest Services are all found right inside the main entrance. After services, you can meet leaders, ask questions, and learn about ministries specific to your needs.
FAQs
We know visiting a new church can be a bit challenging so we wanted to answer a few frequently asked questions.
How long are the services? Our services last approximately 90 minutes.
What should I wear? There is no dress code. Come in what you feel comfortable wearing.
What can I expect to happen during the service? We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Living Word. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed; we share announcements and church news; we sing and listen to our worship team perform contemporary music; we share a relevant and inspiring message; we collect an offering to further God’s word, and we take communion monthly.
