It’s with great excitement that we look forward to 2022 as it will certainly bring new opportunities to share God’s love. As we come together in faith and determination, we know God is going to do great things in our community and beyond! We have great plans for this upcoming year. Check out our goals as a church!

Our Goals for 2022 | Reaching people locally, globally, and digitally.

Local: In partnership with the community.

We want to engage and love our community by meeting practical needs, performing acts of kindness, and ministering God’s unconditional love! We plan to mobilize and fund LW’s Rapid Response Team through Billy Graham, as well as partner with Brooklyn Park Police Department and other Social Agencies to help our local community while hosting free events for everyone to be a part of.

Global: Making a difference all around the world.

We are excited to expand the Missions reach at Living Word in 2022! We are planning to help plant churches in Central and South America through Iglesia Español using the Falcon 50 Aircraft. We’ll start by building infrastructure, hiring staff, and training support staff to plant more Living Word campuses on a local and global scale. Learn more about specifics with the link below.

As technology advances and our culture continues to evolve, expanding the digital platform of Living Word has become a focus of our ministry. Your gifts have already helped us reach people around the world and connect them to our online community. Through LW Online, the new LW App, and the creation of ThePrayerMovement.com—we are excited about the lives we will impact in 2022.

Outreach

In 2021 we worked with multiple organizations, such as A21 and the Billy Graham Association, to engage and love our community by meeting practical needs, performing acts of kindness, and ministering God’s unconditional love! Children's Ministry and East End Expansion

We wanted to invest in families and expand our influence into the next generation by creating a better experience for our kids and youth. We reimagined, designed, and built a brand new Kid’s Ministry space, as well as relocating, redesigning, and building a new church administration space.

Digital Impact

We set out to strengthen content for Online Church, our website, social media, and other online resources, to further God’s message. This year we created Sermon Notes for weekend messages, developed a church-wide Bible reading plan, designed and launched two Living Word Apps, fully funded the Winner’s Minute daily broadcast, and daily devotional all in 2021.

Local: In partnership with the community.

LIVING WORD RAPID RESPONSE TEAM
When tragedies occur in our community, we want to meet the critical needs for emotional and spiritual care. This year we will continue to partner with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team. This special training has allowed us to deploy crisis-trained volunteer chaplains in times of need.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP
We want to make sure Living Word is a light and support to our community by working with the local police department and social agencies.

We are partnering with these key organizations and community groups to extend the love of God to our city and serve the people that God has placed in our neighborhoods.

Global: Making a difference all around the world.

LIVING WORD INTERNATIONAL CAMPUSES
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
For the last three years, we have supported a rehabilitation center for alcoholics and drug addicts. We’ve seen countless people set free from addiction.

COLOMBIA — BOGOTA
We are reaching kids that live on a mountain in an area that does not receive any type of help from the government. In addition to bringing food and ministry, they also have a program that educates children on how to defend themselves from sexual abuse which occurs often in this community.

VENEZUELA — MARACAIBO
We are working with the AGAPE ministry to provide food and medicine to more than 100 families that live in the area.

MISSIONS AND CHURCH PLANTING CENTER
We are excited to expand the Missions reach at Living Word in 2022! We’ll start by building infrastructure, hire staff, and train support staff to plant more Living Word campuses on a local and global scale. Pastor Kent Otey, our long time Missions Pastor, will lead this God-given directive for Living Word.

FALCON 50
The Falcon 50 aircraft plays a vital role in establishing a physical presence in any area where we plant more Living Word campuses. This allows us to transport volunteers, staff, and needed supplies around the world with greater efficiency and reliability.

DIGITAL CHURCH
We plan to strengthen content for Online Church, our website, social media, and other online resources, to further God’s message. We are excited to keep building out our Apps and all our online resources.

THE PRAYER MOVEMENT
Praying together online has become a powerful experience of connection for many people. Pastor Lynne has began a project called ThePrayerMovement.com. Here, you’ll receive encouragement, resources, and action steps to answer God’s call to pray together with people from around the world. You can register your group now, invite your friends, and start praying online today!

WINNER’S MINUTE
This past year we are proud to say we published the Winner’s Minute Devotional to encourage, and inspire during your everyday routine. We are also excited to continue to use one minute of truth to reach people, touch lives, and make a difference across the Twin Cities and beyond!
