Between the Calling and the Separation | Pastor Marie Helene Moulin

Recap

Our very special guest minister came all the way from Nice, France to deliver a special word from the Lord to us. When Pastor Marie-Hélène Moulin was praying about the message the Lord wanted her to share with our congregation, His words were simply to tell us, “The Lord is recruiting!” In preparation for the work of end time harvest, the Lord has begun to call believers into full-time ministry. She explained that not every believer is called to full-time ministry. However, every believer is called to the ministry of reconciliation—sharing Jesus with the lost.

Dive Deeper

In the year 2021, Pastor Marie-Hélène Moulin said the Lord gave her a word for her congregation. He said, “Tell the people that I am recruiting.” He is recruiting people into full-time ministry. Some congregants, indeed, received the call of God into full-time ministry. For each one of them, it was a step of faith. For Pastor Marie, it was also a step of faith to hire them. The Lord was faithful and provided the monies.

After hiring full-time staff, Pastor Marie said, “I cannot tell you the difference it made in the ministry. It was like day and night.”

When Pastor Marie was praying about the message she was to give to the Living Word congregation, the Lord said to her the same message He gave her congregation: “The Lord is recruiting!”

She talked about the “huge mandate” on Living Word.

She clarified that she was not talking about simply serving the Lord because every Christian should be serving the Lord in one way or another. She specified that she was talking about the Lord recruiting people into the full-time ministry.

Romans 1:1 helps us to understand the steps, or phases, one has to go through when one is called to full-time ministry: “Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God…”
First there is “the call.” The next phase is “separation.”

2nd Corinthians 5:19, “…that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

The Lord wants all people to have at least one opportunity to hear that God is not mad at them. He wants to make peace with them. This is a call that is not a specific calling. It is a calling for which every believer is responsible. It’s called “witnessing.” We all are called to witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.

Pastor Marie said, “When I said the Lord is recruiting. I’m not talking about the ministry of reconciliation, something every believer is called to do. I’m talking about those who are called to the five-fold ministry.”
Being “called” is a Greek word that means “invitation.”

When the Lord calls you into the ministry, it is not something that He will impose on you. He doesn’t try to manipulate you into serving Him. He doesn’t negotiate with you to serve Him. It is an honor to serve Him. It is an invitation to serve Him full time.

Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I made you in your mother’s womb, I knew you.”

We all come from God. And He says, “I knew you.” When we were born into the earth, it was not a surprise to God. He knew us before we were born. He said, “Before you were born, I chose you for a special work.”

2nd Timothy 1:9, says, “…who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose.”

This verse in 2nd Timothy says we don’t pick the area of ministry that we are called to serve. God is the one who chooses the work He calls you to do. It’s according to His own purpose.

And with the calling, He provides the grace that equips you to do that work. He provides you with the ability to do the job.

STRAGEGIES OF DECEIT: “Your Heart and Your Feet” #3

Pastor Mac taught his third installment of his teaching series entitled, “Strategies of Deceit.” As Pastor Mac has often said, “The enemy can’t defeat you if he can’t deceive you.” Why? Because Satan is already a defeated foe. The only way Satan can defeat you is to get you to believe something other than the truth. The enemy will make it his goal to deceive you into believing God’s will for you is anything other than life and blessing. In the end, you decide your life’s destiny based on your own decisions. Are you making decisions for life and blessing? Or death and cursing?

Strategies of Deceit 2 | Mac Hammond

we were blessed to have Pastor Mac back in the pulpit with a brand-new series entitled, “Strategies of Deceit.” Over the years, believers have expressed their frustration that their lives are filled with bad, and sometimes evil, things. Even though they pray and live their lives by faith, they can’t seem to make an end of the bad things. They don’t know how to deal with the situation in which they find themselves. Pastor Mac explains the hard truth that the enemy cannot just arbitrarily bring death and cursing into your life. There’s a reason why the enemy has access into your life!

Finding Your Voice in Prayer | Ken Olson

Pastor Ken Olson shared with us a message on “Finding Your Voice in Prayer.” Noting that our nation’s Declaration of Independence declares that we, as citizens, have the right to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He further added, “There’s nothing more empowering, more enabling to pursue life, liberty, and happiness and so many other things that God has planned for our lives than a pursuit of a lifelong relationship through prayer with our Heavenly Father.” Heaven isn’t just a place. Heaven is a divine flow!

Dr. James Tan | Power and Fire, Part 3

Dr. James Tan was our special guest speaker. He spoke about the supernatural power people receive when they experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Entitled, “Power and Fire,” Dr. James taught all three weekend services on the basic fundamental truths concerning a believer’s encounter with Holy Ghost power! He stressed how important it is for all believers to have their own personal encounters with God the Holy Ghost for themselves. “You can’t live off someone else’s testimony,” he said. “You have to get your own experiences about encountering the power of the Holy Spirit for yourself.”
