Giving with a heart to change the world
We believe that giving is done out of a heart of thanksgiving, appreciation for all that God has done for us and continues to do in our lives. “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7
We trust God
When we give, we are not only saying that we trust God with our money and trust Him to provide and to take care of us, but we also recognize that all good things originate from Him.
It’s God’s Always
When we choose to give God that tenth of our increase, we say, in effect that we trust that He takes care of us. Giving demonstrates our awareness that He is our provider. “and all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s; it is holy unto the lord.” – Leviticus 27:30
