THY KINGDOM COME, #2, “Seek First the Kingdom of God” | Mac Hammond
Recap
Pastor Mac delivered the second installment of his series entitled, “Thy Kingdom Come.” The book of Hebrews says that in the end times, God is going to shake the world systems. Some things will be removed by the shaking. Things that cannot be shaken will survive. And what survives the shaking will be transformed. Regarding the world’s systems, Pastor Mac says, “If our dependence is more grounded in these worldly systems than our dependence on God, we too will be shaken.” We are in the midst of the world being shaken. It’s important we understand why the shaking is happening and what we are to do in the midst of it.

Pastor Mac shared a text he received from Brother Kenneth Copeland:
“In the Bible, the concept of blood on the right ear in Leviticus 8:22 and 14:28 serves as a visible mark of consecration, signifying that the person is dedicated to God’s service and has been set apart for a specific purpose. This act represents a physical and spiritual transformation, preparing the individual for their sacred role. Here’s a breakdown of the significance. Right ear: The right ear represents hearing and obedience. In ancient times, the right ear was considered the most important ear, as it was the ear that heard the Word of God. Blood represents life, sacrifice, and atonement. In this context, the blood is a symbol of purification and consecration. Consecration means to set something or someone apart for a specific purpose, making it holy and dedicated to God. In this case, the blood on the right ear signifies that the person is being set apart for a sacred task or role. Priestly consecration in Leviticus 8: the blood is applied to the right ear of Aaron and his sons consecrating them as priests. This act sets them apart as mediators between God and the people. Purification in Leviticus 14: the blood is applied to the right ear of the person being cleansed, symbolizing their purification and restoration to the community. God bless America for daily prayer and encouragement.”
Pastor Mac affirmed his belief that the assassination attempt on President Trump was a miracle in that the bullet missed by only a quarter of an inch. He said, “I believe the Lord took what was intended to be a work of evil and a devastating event for our country and He turned it into a time of purification and consecration of the next President of the United States. I think it speaks volumes to us about the Lord’s purposes and intents and where our hearts should be aligned, the excitement we should feel at what He’s speaking to us through these kinds of things.”
Scriptural text for message:
Heb. 12:26–28, “Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:” KJV
The Passion translation says, “I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm.” What is being shaken are those things that represent the world’s systems. Or the “old order.”
Pastor Mac believes the world shaking began with the Covid pandemic. That’s when we started seeing the shaking of medical systems, delivery systems, treatment systems, communication systems, information systems, etc.
The attempted assassination of President Trump represents a shaking of the old political order.
Recently, a company had a temporary software glitch that shut down transportation and the grids. People were stacked up at airports, trucks were backed up unable to deliver goods. The Internet was shut down for a season. And this was all caused by one company’s software glitch. It’s a reminder of how fragile most of the world’s systems are. And just how much we depend on them. It serves as a harbinger of the greater shaking that’s coming.
As a believer, if our dependence is more grounded in these worldly systems than our dependence on God, we too will be shaken. The people that get shaken are experiencing the result of being more dependent on these systems than they are the Lord.
The purpose of the shaking will produce removal or transformation. One of the two.
The shaking will cause us to see the old systems are no longer fulfilling God’s purpose. Many of the world’s systems are doing so by the grace of God.
He is for these systems serving our lives, but when we become more dependent on the systems that deliver His blessing than we are the blesser, meaning God Himself, we will be shaken along with those old, world systems.
Unless it produces transformation. That’s the option.
As believers, if you feel shaken, then you can experience transformation.
Read About It
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:”
Amplified: Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. 27 Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken—that is, of that which has been created—in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. 28 Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken…”
Passion: “The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised once and for all, I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm.”
