We Shall Reap, Part #3 | Keith Moore | November 6, 2022

Recap:
What a weekend we had with guest minister Keith Moore! It was a blessing as we listened to his various messages on reaping and harvesting what God has prepared for us. This was a weekend where you may want to listen to ALL three messages to get the full picture of what Keith was sharing. When you sow into God’s kingdom, you are planting financial seed into the ground. It is your job, however, to expect and reap a harvest! God has given you the ability to do so. In fact, your harvest is often waiting, and too many Christians don’t realize that they are supposed to actively get it by faith!

Dive Deeper:
Faith is the hand that takes what God has so graciously given. In fact, it is our responsibility to be on the lookout for our harvest. How? We need to pay attention to the leading of the Holy Spirit on the inside of us. We need to be aware of when He leads us to our harvest, and we need to be ready to obey and take our harvest.

Think for a moment about the power of the seed. If you plant seed, a multiplication process begins. A seed always works to produce miraculously more than it initially had. Reaping, however, is not automatic. We need to learn to take our harvest by faith. Claim what you need. Claim your harvest. Don’t leave your harvest up to God. Believe it. Claim it. Listen to God for His direction as to where you shall reap it!

The first generation of Israelites didn’t possess the Promised Land. They felt sorry for themselves and didn’t embrace the courageous faith that they needed to reap their rewards. On the other hand, the lady with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd and took a healing from Jesus. She didn’t even ask if it would be okay. Faith is not for the wimpy!

Religion makes beggars out of men. God wants you to possess all He has prepared for you by faith! What you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Read About It:
Galatians 6:9 KJV
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

1 Timothy 6:12 KJV
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Mark 11:24 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Luke 8:43–48 KJV
And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

Proverbs 10:5 KJV
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

Discussion Questions:
1. Have you planted seed in the ground?
2. Have you reaped a harvest?
3. How does God lead you to a harvest?
4. How do you take your harvest by faith?

Strategies of Deceit | Mac Hammond

we were blessed to have Pastor Mac back in the pulpit with a brand-new series entitled, “Strategies of Deceit.” Over the years, believers have expressed their frustration that their lives are filled with bad, and sometimes evil, things. Even though they pray and live their lives by faith, they can’t seem to make an end of the bad things. They don’t know how to deal with the situation in which they find themselves. Pastor Mac explains the hard truth that the enemy cannot just arbitrarily bring death and cursing into your life. There’s a reason why the enemy has access into your life!

Finding Your Voice in Prayer | Ken Olson

Pastor Ken Olson shared with us a message on “Finding Your Voice in Prayer.” Noting that our nation’s Declaration of Independence declares that we, as citizens, have the right to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He further added, “There’s nothing more empowering, more enabling to pursue life, liberty, and happiness and so many other things that God has planned for our lives than a pursuit of a lifelong relationship through prayer with our Heavenly Father.” Heaven isn’t just a place. Heaven is a divine flow!

Dr. James Tan | Power and Fire, Part 3

Dr. James Tan was our special guest speaker. He spoke about the supernatural power people receive when they experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Entitled, “Power and Fire,” Dr. James taught all three weekend services on the basic fundamental truths concerning a believer’s encounter with Holy Ghost power! He stressed how important it is for all believers to have their own personal encounters with God the Holy Ghost for themselves. “You can’t live off someone else’s testimony,” he said. “You have to get your own experiences about encountering the power of the Holy Spirit for yourself.”

GRACE UNVEILED, #37: Tongues: The Fire Is Still Burning | Jim Hammond

Have you ever been in a place in your life where you don’t know how to pray or what to pray… where you don’t have the words to express to God what you need from Him? It’s a place in which all born again believers have found themselves. This is the subject matter Pastor Jim taught us in his 37th installment of his ongoing series on the book of Romans—“Grace Unveiled.” It is the Holy Spirit that makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered in articulate language. About tongues, Pastor Jim said, “I do this for myself. You should pray in tongues for yourself. It’s a mistake not to!”

When Grace Sprinted | Jim Hammond

When Jesus walked the earth, one of His missions was to reveal the Father God’s love for us. And one of the ways He did that was through the telling of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. When teaching on this parable, most preachers focus all their attention on the Prodigal Son, and how he repented. However, the whole point of this parable is to reveal the Father’s love. Pastor Jim said, “This may be one of the most-preached messages in history. And I know you think you know what this parable is all about… Well, we shall see.”
