“Praying the Rain Down” | Jim Hammond

Recap

The launch of Pastor Jim’s new teaching series began this past weekend, entitled, “Praying Down the Rain.” It was powerful! He delved into past revivals to examine whether there were certain things that triggered the move of God in the land. And he found them! Plus, you’ll get to hear a prophetic word about our very own state—Minnesota! If there is anyone out there that feels “ho-hum” on the subject of end time revival, this series will bring an end to that. Apathy will disappear!

Pastor Jim said…

I am going to start by showing you a video. I’m not usually big on a bunch of videos when I’m preaching. But this is a well-known prophet in our stream. As soon as I saw it late last July, I knew I was going to show it to you. I knew it’s something that you had to see.

This prophet is very connected to Billye Brim. He starts out the video talking directly to Billye Brim. And I have to say about Dr. Billye Brim, I don’t think there’s anyone that’s taught me more in the last 20 years.

But I only have time to show you six minutes of this video. I don’t know if he even calls himself a prophet. He’s a big-time prayer guy. His name is Brandon Biggs. And as a prophet, I would say this man has a lot of clout. I don’t know of any other prophets in this nation that actually prophesied ahead of time that President Trump would get shot in the ear. That’s documented. He prophesied that before it even happened. And numerous other things.

And I want to remind you of a man named George Washington Carver, the peanut farmer, many, many years ago was a prophet in his own right. He prophesied that the end of days revival before the rapture would begin in Minnesota, at the headwaters of the Mississippi River. I wanted to remind you of that before you see this video.

If you go to the lwcc.org website, there will be a link. Scroll down. He talks about a lot of things that are coming, that he really has already gotten right.

Just to set up the video, you’ll hear the name, Lucy. The “Lucy” he’s talking about is my mom’s twin sister. My mom [Pastor Lynne] was an identical twin. Her sister went home to be with the Lord in 2010. She was a missionary to France the last 10 years of her life. But she was a traveling minister her whole life.

You’re going to hear the name “Philip Halverson.” The way I would put it, is he mentored my parents, really, in prayer from the day the church started. I can remember being 13 years old and being at the Halvorson’s home in their basement while my parents were upstairs praying with Phil and Fern Halverson, sometimes for up to five hours. And you’re going to hear my mother’s name, Lynne, in this video.

Video of Brandon Biggs:

Hello, Miss Billye. This is Brandon, of course, you know. I just had this visitation that I have to tell you about privately on this. I’m sitting here after it was over and the Lord said, “Make a video. Don’t call her on the phone. Just tell her.” So this is what I saw.

“I was caught up in the spirit…”

I saw Lucy. I saw Brother Halverson. I saw Jeannie Wilkerson. And I’ll tell you what I saw. I was interceding and all of a sudden, I was caught up in the spirit and I got taken … and I was hearing people sing with me. And I was singing “From glory to glory, He’s changing me, changing me.”

“I heard other voices singing with me…”

And all of a sudden, I heard other voices in my room singing this song with me as I was worshiping. And the glory… and Dina [?] could smell the fragrance of the Father and Jesus. “I’m here with you.” And all of a sudden, I could hear “From glory to glory, He’s changing us.” And it was beautiful singing. And I was like, I noticed that voice before. That’s Lucy! That’s Lucy, Lynne’s sister. I said, “Honey, that’s Lucy. I hear her voice.”

Praying with the great cloud of witnesses…

And all of a sudden, I was taken up and I went through like this pillar or this shaft of a tunnel. It was like a tunnel. And all of a sudden, I went through this tunnel and there was purple and there were clouds. And it was beautiful. And I went up through it and I could see into heaven. And I said, “Lord, what is this?” And He said, “This is the great cloud of witnesses, Brandon. They’re praying with you tonight.”

Lucy was interceding for America…

And I can hear sister Lucy interceding for America and for… I’ll try to do this without crying. I could hear her singing, praying for her sister, Lynne. And I could hear her interceding for Minnesota. And she was saying “Minnesota. Minnesota.” And she was praying in this heavenly tongue. It was glorious. And they were interceding in heaven for America, for a revival.

Brother Halverson, Jeannie Wilkerson, and Rachel Teafatiller praying…

And I could see Brother Halverson. And they were singing and praying together. And I could see Jeannie Wilkerson and Rachel Teafatiller. And there were two other people. I don’t know who they were. But they were sitting on a patchwork quilt! And I could see this patchwork quilt. I can describe it to you.

A beautiful oak tree…

Lucy was sitting in a chair. Lucy was sitting in a rocking chair that was like a beautiful oak looking rocking chair. It was all southern looking. It was beautiful. And they were sitting on a grassy meadow with a beautiful oak tree. And this oak tree was gorgeous. And there was no darkness in it at all. None of the leaves had shadows. This oak tree was beautiful, shining bright. And I could see it as I was looking through this portal.

They were all travailing for Minnesota…

And I could see Jeannie Wilkerson sitting next to this lady that had a bun in her hair. She looked like she had a big Holy Ghost Pentecostal hairdo. Like her hair was pulled up and it was like in a bun on top of a bun. And she looked like old Pentecostal women. And they were all travailing for Minnesota. And I could see Brother Halverson. They looked young. Like young. They were not, of course; they were in their glorified bodies.

The Hammonds’ church became on fire…

The Lord said, “Brandon, they’re interceding for the revival.” They were having intercession. And all of a sudden, I could see Minnesota. And then Lynne Hammond’s church became on fire. And a great wave of the glory of God. The Lord said to me, “I visited it once before, but what I’m about to do at Living Word, son, will dwarf what I’ve done before. For a great mighty harvest, a great move of My presence will visit in another generation. For I visited this generation, Lynne… and a new way for a new generation. “A new way for a new generation,” is what the Father said. A new way for a new generation. “And I will visit Living Word one more time with this great move of My presence.”

A glorious fire all over Living Word church…

And I saw a glorious fire all over Living Word church there in Minnesota. And I heard Brother Halverson was praying “Minnesota. Minnesota.” And he was travailing “Minnesota.” And he was calling for revival— “Minnesota. Minnesota.” And he was travailing over this.

Their prayers came through the portal…

I was hearing it echo as Lucy was rocking in this chair and they were both praying back and forth with each other. And I heard it. But this was what was amazing. As it was being travailed in heaven, their prayers went through that portal, and they hit me in the chest and it caused the prayer to come through me. And I started groaning the prayer out in the spirit realm, what was happening in heaven. It came through the portal and hit me and hit my stomach. And they started to come through, travail through me. And the Lord said, “Pray it out. They’re helping you. Pray it out. They’re helping you. There’s a great revival coming to Branson. There’s a great revival coming to Collinsville. You must help them pray, pray, pray.”

GRACE UNVEILED, #37: Tongues: The Fire Is Still Burning | Jim Hammond

Have you ever been in a place in your life where you don’t know how to pray or what to pray… where you don’t have the words to express to God what you need from Him? It’s a place in which all born again believers have found themselves. This is the subject matter Pastor Jim taught us in his 37th installment of his ongoing series on the book of Romans—“Grace Unveiled.” It is the Holy Spirit that makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered in articulate language. About tongues, Pastor Jim said, “I do this for myself. You should pray in tongues for yourself. It’s a mistake not to!”

When Grace Sprinted | Jim Hammond

When Jesus walked the earth, one of His missions was to reveal the Father God’s love for us. And one of the ways He did that was through the telling of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. When teaching on this parable, most preachers focus all their attention on the Prodigal Son, and how he repented. However, the whole point of this parable is to reveal the Father’s love. Pastor Jim said, “This may be one of the most-preached messages in history. And I know you think you know what this parable is all about… Well, we shall see.”

GRACE UNVEILED | Creation on the Edge of Its Seat (Leaning Forward) | Jim Hammond

Pastor Jim taught the 36th installment of his ongoing series on the book of Romans, entitled “Grace Unveiled.” Due to the rich treasures that are contained in Romans chapter 8, Pastor Jim is determined to reveal every one of its gems, leaving no truth uncovered! Did you know, there are three “groans” in this chapter? In this message, we looked at the groan that all creation gives right before the end of the dispensation of grace. Folks, that’s right now!

GRACE UNVEILED | Creation on the Edge of Its Seat (Leaning Forward) | Jim Hammond

Pastor Jim taught his next installment in his teaching series on the book of Romans entitled, “Grace Unveiled.” Many scholars believe the book of Romans is the “peak” of the New Testament. In fact, multiple commentators and Greek scholars refer to Romans as “the definitive statement of Christian expression.” In this 35th teaching, Pastor Jim said, “The book of Romans can be better understood when you read it as if the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to a number of little house churches in Rome.” He then went on to explain what he meant by that.

The Fullness of Him | Russell Kalenberg

We were joined this past weekend with guest minister, Russell Kalenberg, who reminded us of who we are in Christ! Jesus wants you to have a revelation of all He has given you. He wants to pull back the curtains and provide you with a new focus on what He has called you to become. Too often, we focus on who the world says we are instead of remembering the gift of grace and authority God has given us.
