Session 1
The Importance of Membership and Finding Your Place
Overview:
Pastor Mac will provide pertinent information about the vision, doctrine, and other significant topics. There is a place that pleases God to put you. It is vital that you are in the right place and making your supply to the larger body of Christ. Pastor Mac also utilizes this session to share his personal history and journey with Christ.
Session 2
Church Government
Overview:
It is essential to know why a ministry is organized and conducts ministry the way it does. How LW is structured and why we do what we do is something we’d like you to know before joining as a member. Pastor Mac discusses four basic types of church government and identifies where Living Word fits in these types.
Session 3
Church Doctrine and Statement of Faith
Overview:
Pastor Mac takes time to go through each point in detail of LW’s Statement of Faith. Special attention is given to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Please see our Statement of Faith on page 9 of the booklet.
Session 4
Vision and Goals
Overview:
The Bible tells us in Habakuk to “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets.” Each year, Living Word is diligent to set goals that support the vision to “reach people, touch lives, and make a difference.” Pastor Mac takes time to describe both short-term goals and long-range vision for the ministry.
