Leader: Mike Williamson
When: 8 a.m.-12 p.m., third Saturday of the month (year-round)
Additional Car Care information:
Car owners must bring oil and filter for oil changes, car owners must bring any parts to fix their car or be prepared to go with a volunteer from Car Care to purchase parts needed that were not brought with you.
For example, if you are coming in to get your front brakes done, you would be responsible for bringing any of the brake pads, rotors, calipers, or whatever brake part you would like replaced.
On a tune-up, the car owner would be responsible for bringing the spark plugs and/or the spark plug wires.
If you need help on which parts to bring you can talk with Rick or Mike at the time of scheduling.
There are no labor charges with work done by Car Care. The technicians donate their time and expertise.
There is typically more demand than space with these appointments, and thus we cannot stress enough that once committed you do everything possible to honor that appointment.
Work that we typically do is oil changes, tire rotations, odd electrical problems, some suspension work, vehicle inspections, brake work, miscellaneous troubleshooting, and accessory work.
Things we are not set up to do include: transmission, coolant flushes, alignments, and air conditioning work–to name just a few of the more popular requests.
Kurth’s Auto Repair can assist you with those needs outside of Car Care.
