When celebrating moms, we are celebrating God who put His nature and His attributes in them.
As we honored moms this past weekend, Pastor Jim took the time to glorify God by talking about God’s beauty and nature that He specifically placed in women. He used examples from the Bible of moms in action who show mercy, persisted through difficult times, and freely gave their love. Moms provide emotional support and comfort to their own children and are drawn to protect and help other children in need as well.
When given the opportunity, many people who have achieved great things often thank their mom first. Abraham Lincoln once stated, “All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” Mothers are beautiful and strong—and this year we celebrate what God has placed in them.
