The Power of Agreement
Many of us have a personal prayer time with the Lord, but we don’t make the time to pray with others for any number of reasons. However, the Bible encourages us to pray with others, because there is power in prayer of agreement. In fact, as Jesus explains in the book of Matthew, when two or more pray together, He promises that He will be there with you.
When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.
We have created small prayer groups to provide a variety of opportunities for people to pray together. These are small groups that pray for a specific topic. Meetings can be at any number of locations and cities. We also take advantage of web-based meetings (via Skype) so pray-ers can gather, even when not in the same location!
Some of the topics we pray for include families, marriages, missions, our government, and current events.
