Virginia graduated from the Children's Ministry Classes at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in May of 1985. She came on full-time staff at Living Word in June of 1987 as a pastoral secretary. At the same time, she volunteered in the children's ministry, developing curriculum for and overseeing the infant and one year old children.
As her family and the children's ministry grew, she left her full-time position as pastoral secretary in December of 1988 and took the part-time position of overseeing the infants, one- and two-year-old children until that grew into a full-time position. She then took on the oversight of the three-year-old children in March of 1998.
In addition to the Little Church Ministry, she currently oversees the Mighty OverComer program (assisting special needs children) as well as the Fifth Service Kidz Ministry. She has been active in the Pastoral Care Ministry for years, ministering mainly to young families, specifically pregnant women with high risk pregnancies and premature babies.
