Many Hands

It’s the smiling face of the person that handed you your chai tea latte at Wholly Grounds, it’s the kind words of the volunteer greeting your toddler as she enters Little Church for the first time. It’s the perfect shot of Pastor Mac laughing as he pokes fun at himself during service; it’s the beautiful harmony coming from the choir.

What, you ask?

Those are just some of the sights and sounds of serving. As you can imagine, it takes a small army for the weekly and weekend services, various ministries, and groups to operate effectively. We believe that everyone has a God-ordained place for them to make their contribution. And, the great thing about God (as if there was just one) is that, when you serve, not only are you being a blessing, but you will also be all the more blessed for having served. It’s a great way to meet people, to learn about different aspects of the church, and to play your part in making a difference in the lives of others.

Twice a year, we have volunteer development classes, which provide a great framework for why we serve. Our next two-session class begins September 7.
