Now that you’ve started this relationship with Jesus, where do you go from here? How do you get to know Him better? One of the most powerful ways to know Jesus better is through studying the Bible. In fact, the Bible explains it this way:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.-John 1:1 & 14
How amazing is it that by reading the Bible, we are actually interacting with Jesus Himself? We are learning from truth and grace Himself.
When it comes to the Bible, you can choose to read it by chapter, by topic; there is no wrong way to get started. A great way to begin is with a devotional; these are typically scriptures with a small teaching, and often thought-provoking questions for you to think about as you go through your day.
Cfaith is an online resource of Biblical materials; you can sign up for their daily devotional to come right to your email, as a great place to start.
Just like any relationship, the more time you spend with one another, the more you learn about one another, and the relationship strengthens.
So it is with Jesus.

Also, Bible study groups are a terrific way, not only to learn more about the Word, but to build relationships with other people, and provide a place where you can ask questions, be challenged, and inspired. We are all in this together, right?
