Maranatha Christian Academy
Pastor Brian Sullivan
bio
Maranatha Christian Academy is a Bible-based school espousing a Christ-centered, charismatic statement of faith. The school offers pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade instruction in a traditional classroom setting. Our atmosphere encourages and enables students to mature intellectually, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as found in Luke 2:52, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."
Our approach to education at Maranatha Christian Academy is based on a God-centered view of truth and man - the view presented by God's infallible Word, the Bible.
We see the entire process of education as a means used by the Holy Spirit to bring students into fellowship with God, to develop in them a Christian mind, and to train them in godly living in order to fulfill God's total purpose for their lives - personally and vocationally.
We believe they must be taught the Bible, not only in order to understand God, but also to understand themselves, their own natures, and their roles as beings made in the image of God.
Maranatha has two campuses:
The South Campus is located at 4021 Thomas Avenue North in Minneapolis. This facility houses the Kindergarten through 6th grade classes.
The North Campus is located in the far east end of the Living Word Christian Center building. This facility houses the pre-kindergarten classes, middle school and the senior high grades
(7th - 12th).
