On Saturday, October 31, twenty volunteers from Living Word Christian Center served elderly and disabled homeowners in the Brooklyn Park community by raking their leaves. This community service project called Operation Outreach Super Saturday is conducted annually by the Living Word Outreach Department in cooperation with C.E.A.P. (Community Economic Assistance Program) and enables many citizens to stay in their homes.

This was work on the lake with his fishing pole catching crappies. He and his friend, Ted Bergstrom, are both retired, but every once in a while, they go to "work" catching fish for their wives and some of their wives' friends. This close group of seven friends meets together for Christmas, birthdays, and the Winner's Luncheon, a monthly business luncheon held at Living Word Christian Center.
