How to Study Your Bible with Dr. Gary Meier

To be successful at anything, we need a good method and the right tools. If we lack in either area, our results will suffer. This week we discuss methods of Bible study with an emphasis on developing a basic biblical library. How do I choose a good Study Bible? Do I need a Bible dictionary? What about commentaries? Can I get by without these things? Can I obtain these tools at a modest price? How do I actually use these study aids in my Bible study?

Christians in the Workplace with Rick Fox & JR Croston

What is the importance of product branding, or brand recognition? Is Christianity a brand and if so, what should it look like? If we are truly temples of the Holy Spirit, we can expect to use our skills, abilities, and character to influence our surroundings and bring God glory. Proverbs 22:1 says that a good name is more desirable than great riches. Your words, your appearance and your actions all work together to form your reputation or brand.

Facebook, Texting, and Twitter, Oh My! Media Management with Erin Walsh

Facebook, YouTube, Twitter: These are just a few of online sites that are wildly popular among young people. As kids gain Internet access on cell phones, portable gaming devices and more, they end up spending as much time in an online world as in the real one. The powerful role of the Internet in young people's lives is undeniable. And while Internet use can be rewarding, there are also risks posed by an unregulated online environment, from online predation to addiction to cyberbullying. We must try to bridge the "digital divide" that often exists between "digital natives" and "digital immigrants" in order to foster understanding and positive communication about online activities. As we do, we'll understand and minimize risks associated with living in an increasingly digital world.
