How to Study Your Bible with Dr. Gary Meier

Session one is an introduction, covering topics such as reading vs. Bible study, the scriptural basis for Bible study and basic guidelines to Bible interpretation. You may have questions such as, what are the various ways to study the Bible, and how do I get started? What are my goals regarding Bible study? What are the common mistakes to avoid while studying my Bible? This session focuses on basic methods to better Bible study.

What are God's thoughts regarding the workplace? The bible has much to say about submission to authority, respecting our boss or supervisor, and even our motivation for work. God is portrayed throughout scripture as a General, real estate developer, artist, physician, teacher, accountant, and farmer. Through this we understand that work is inherently good, and that we honor God through doing the work He has given us to do in a way that pleases Him.
