Living Word Christian Center working in cooperation with CEAP, the Emergency Food Shelf Network and Crest View Elementary School will distribute over 400 food baskets to hungry families for Thanksgiving. Many Living Word families participate in Baskets of Blessing citing the positive impression that serving neighbors in need makes on their children.
The food baskets contain turkey, stuffing, and all the trimmings to feed a family of seven. Personal hygiene items such as toothpaste and shampoo are also included.
Baskets of Blessing offerings are being accepted during the month of November. $25 feeds a family of seven. Write "Baskets of Blessing" on your offering envelope.
Workers are needed at 9 a.m. on Saturday November 21 to assemble and deliver Baskets of Blessing.
